"A legend in his own mind"
June 83' at the AMA National Battle of the Twins race. I tried to scan the newspaper article but It came out awful...I'll type the highlights...
Fahey wins class; takes 5th overall in Loudon
Hudson's Steve Fahey took his 550cc, stock Yamaha Vision to a Class win in the Battle of the Twins motorcycle race at Bryar Motosport Park in Loudon, N.H. last Sunday. Steve rode a very steady race, winning the Lightweight Modified race, and finishing 5th overall amongst the Open Modified class competitors.
Starting from the 8th row of the grid, Steve lapped the entire Lightweight Modified class and cruised home with the win.
This is the second year in a row that Fahey has won his class at Loudon...

Loudon 82'. The 6hr Endurance race. Chuck Desjardins and I teamed up to win our class and finish 4th overall. Mike Coffee adds gas while Bob Stewart changes one of the seven sets of front brake pads we used up that day.

Chuck and I teamed up for other Endurance races. We won them all (in our class) except for one DNF due to mechanical problems.
